E.C.S.

The E.C.S. (Environmental Coring System) is a drilling system capable of drilling into non-cohesive soils (plastic clays, silts, sands and fine gravels) for carrying out soil investigations with continuous dry core drilling, without the aid of any type of drilling fluid.

The drilling takes place by rotation of the helical casing to which both the shoe and the core barrel are attached. At the end of the drilling it’s possible to extract the core barrel by means of an overshot.

The E.C.S. contains many qualities such as: easy of use, speed of drilling and rapid extraction of the core barrel.
